Blossoming of the Witch - Julie Revezzo

The blossoming of Witch…. by Juli D. Revezzo

The Artist’s Inheritance, the first in my Antique Magic paranormal fantasy series came about from the idea of an artist’s obsession. But more than taking it from the artists’ point of view, I decided to go from the point of view of those that loved him. Particularly, his wife. What might that obsession look like to her? What effect might it have on her? And in a twist on the hero/damsel in distress motif, when it turned out there was a little more involved with this than just the creative spark, when the fingerprints of an angry ancestral goddess become evident, what would she do to save him from that goddess’ wrath?

Well, my Caitlin decided she had much to say about the subject, and even more she had her own “ghosts” to deal with. In one way, quite literally and in others, figuratively. The lessons the gods determined her husband had to learn became hers too and she blossomed under the lessons. Now, in Drawing Down the Shades, she’s a little more in tune with the otherworld. That’s not to say she still doesn’t have a lot to learn. So here, though she has more in her arsenal, the ghosts still throw curveballs at her. What impressions does an artist leave behind on his work when this life is done? What if the artist’s obsession transcends this life into the next? How can a soul like that be helped? These are the ongoing questions of the series.

Trevor and Caitlin were once happy newlyweds, profiting from Trevor's art. Until Trevor inherits his brother's house, and with it, his part of a family curse. Now, Caitlin will stop at nothing to save her beloved husband from insanity and suicide, even if it means she must embrace her destiny and become a witch.
